“Congrats to the scholarship recipients. Thank you to the Bronx, Manhattan, and Westchester Chapter of the Caribbean American Nurses Association members for this recognition,” she said. “As some of you know, my late mother, Jeanette HoSang, was a nurse, and I’m grateful that she taught me how to be nurturing and caring to others. It’s no wonder, at work, they call me ‘Nurse Sabrina’ whenever someone needs first aid, and I don’t crumble at the sight of blood.
“Nurses are superheroes, and I commend you for all that you do in your line of work,” HoSang Jordan continued. “I feel good to be in the presence of so many nurses. In case something happens, I know I’m in good hands.”
HoSang Jordan said she grew up in a philanthropic environment, where both her parents believed in giving back to their community.
“It is important to me that I continue my parents’ legacy, and I thank God that He has given me and my family the ability to continue to do so,” she said. “That’s why it’s important for me to support events like these.
“Thank you to those who took the time out of their busy schedules to come out and support me,” she added. “On behalf of Royal Caribbean Bakery, Caribbean Food Delights, and The Vincent HoSang Family Foundation, I thank you for your support, which allows us to continue giving back to the community.”
